Landscapes delight me, especially when they allow me to weave in wildflowers, winding paths, and expansive skies. I’m endlessly inspired by the freedom they offer—an invitation to interpret the world not exactly as it is, but as it feels. Many of the landscapes I create come from the vast catalogue of views stored in my mind: memories from a lifetime of looking, wandering, and admiring the countryside. Painting landscapes feels like revisiting those moments, honouring their beauty while allowing my imagination to shape the final scene.
