The Animals collection felt almost inevitable. Before painting, I spent many years creating ink illustrations of animals on paper, and that practice shaped my early artistic identity. Returning to animals in my contemporary work felt instinctive—like welcoming back an old friend. They allow me to blend character, charm, and expressive detail, capturing the spirit of each creature while still playing freely with colour and texture. The collection reconnects me with the roots of my creativity and continues to evolve as I explore new styles and species.
